Welcome to A Rocky Visit Through Georgia with AVERY!

Join me for a tour through Georgia's physiographic regions.  This blog will share my journey with you.  It documents my trip through our beautiful state and tells about the rocks and geologic landforms in each region.  There is so much to tell...stay tuned!
Day 5:  Coast Plain...we are here visiting my friend from camp named Eli.  We decided to save this for last so we can have a vacation at St. Simon's Island.  Click below to learn about my trip to the beach!

Day 4:  The Piedmont is on the 4th day of our trip.  We stopped in Elberton to learn about granite.  Did you know that Stone Mountain is made out of GRANITE?  Click below to see more about my trip!
